Moore United plays their home games in Falty, a former school, it’s has been Moore home since the late seventies. The grounds have come a long way since; days of training with a car battery have long gone, in 1983 flood lights were erected and upgraded in 1993, now the main pitch is capable of contesting night-time matches with the introduction of a new floodlighting system in 2010.
The clubhouse its self has seen some major refurbishment in recent years. In 2005 following a grant received from the National Lottery, the clubhouse turned into to a building site, a new roof was constructed, inside two large dressing rooms with showers and heaters, a separate room for the referee and an extension was added to house a men’s and women’s toilets and a kitchen. The new clubhouse was opened on the 12 May 2007 by the then PP of Moore Archbishop Joseph Cassidy and dedicated to the late Johnny Murray.
A second pitch was purchased in 2011 to take the pressure of the main pitch; the second pitch is mostly used for underage games as well as training. New dugouts where recently added to the second pitch and a new boundary fence.
Thanks to a dedicated committee and ground staff over the years the club has a state of the art facility and large car park, leaving Moore United with one of the best kept club grounds in the RDFL.
